Harmon Steel Leadership Changes

Harmon Steel, Inc. would like to formally announce leadership changes effective January 2017. Harmon Steel is a full service steel erector and part of the Harmon group of companies that also includes Harmon Construction, Inc. and Taylor Bros. Construction Company, Inc.

William B. Harmon will take on the President’s position as Tom Harmon shifts to the role of CEO. William has spent the last 21 years with the Harmon group of companies in various roles including field crew, safety, and project management while earning a business degree from the University of Phoenix. William has been a full time employee with Harmon Steel for the last 17 years with additional time being devoted to Harmon Construction, Inc. He serves on various boards including the Harmon group not-for-profit Joy of Giving Board, Local 22 JATC – Ironworkers Apprenticeship Board, and the ICA Market Recovery Board. William spends his time outside of the office with his wife (Emily) and their three children or on the golf course.

Mike Pritchett has been promoted to Vice President of Operations. He has worked for Harmon Steel, Inc. for 25 years upon completing the Ironworker’s apprenticeship program following high school. Putting his skills to work, Mike became foreman in the field and later promoted to a project manager, rebar division manager, and most recently operations manager for Harmon Steel, Inc. Mike has served on the ISA board of directors (2010-2014), special events committee (Co-Chair 2010-2011, Chair 2012-2013), and the INDOT committee within ICI. Mike enjoys playing golf or spending time with his wife and children. Mike coaches his sons’ sports teams and is the Cub Master for their local Cub Scout pack in Danville.
