MEMBERSHIP

Indiana Constructors, Inc. (ICI) membership is open to contractors, subcontractors, service providers and supplier companies in the highway, heavy and utility industry.

ICI is the Indiana highway, heavy and utility chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America. Membership in this national association is a requirement for all members. ICI is the Indiana affiliate of the American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA), and we encourage our members to join this national association, although it is not required.

Regardless of the application date, companies must pay the full-year, combined ICI and AGC dues. The second year’s dues will be prorated to reflect the join date.

After ICI receives a new application and payment, the Board of Directors must approve each application. This process typically takes a week. After that, applicants will receive a welcome letter and website login credentials and can begin taking advantage of their membership.

CONTRACTOR

Contractors are construction firms owned and operated by individuals, partnerships, corporations, joint ventures or other organizations capable of undertaking work as a prime contractor. They are typically engaged bidding projects through the Indiana Department of Transportation or local units of government, in addition to private clients.

First year dues $1500

SUBCONTRACTOR

Subcontractors are individuals, partnerships, corporations or other organizations in the business of subcontracting labor and/or materials on a jobsite for public improvement projects.

First year dues $1010

ASSOCIATE

Associates are individuals, partnerships, corporations or other organizations engaged in the manufacture or sale of materials, equipment and/or services construction contractors and subcontractors use. Associate members typically employ personnel directly connected with the construction-industry sectors of their own industries such as equipment dealers, insurance companies, accounting firms, materials suppliers or law firms.

First year dues $1310

CERTIFIED INDOT DBEs

To support and cultivate Disabled Business Enterprise (DBE) members, ICI offers a special plan to those who are certified by the Indiana Department of Transportation. This program offers the following incentives:

  • 50% off first-year, new member dues.
  • 25% off the second year within this program.
  • Full dues the third year.
