How do I know if my company is already a member of ICI?

What type of membership category should I choose?

What information do I need to apply?

  • Basic company and main contact information
  • A brief company description
  • Percentage of heavy/highway/utility work
  • References from a contractor/engineer, banker and one additional business

How long is my company's membership active?

Memberships dues are based on a calendar year beginning in January. Full, first-year dues are required for application. Second-year dues are prorated to reflect the original application date.

When do members pay annual dues?

Annual dues are typically billed in November and due in January.

What are ACG of America contractor dues?

keyboard_arrow_down

First year members pay the minimum amount for AGC of America dues. Subsequent years are based on volume. The current formula is based on 2023 volume for 2025 dues:

  • Under $2,000,000 – $500
  • $2,000,000 to $4,999,999 – $625
  • $5,000,000 to $9,999,999 – $1,000
  • $10,000,000 to $19,999,999 – $1,600
  • $20,000,000 to $44,999,999 – $3,000
  • $45,000,000 or more – $4,200

How do contractor member assessments work?

ICI invoices all member contractors a monthly assessment on public works contracts awarded based on the following formula:

  • The first $2,000,000 of fiscal year contract volume = .20 of 1%
  • The second $3,000,000 of fiscal year contract volume = .10 of 1%
  • Fiscal year contract volume in excess of $5,000,000 = .05 of 1%

ICI currently applies a 30% discount to invoices for assessments on public works contracts. The Board of Directors reserves the right to review this discount.

How can I pay my dues and other bills?

ICI accepts check and credit card payments only.

Are my dues tax deductible?

Contact your accountant with the following information to determine your tax liability on membership dues and assessments.

  • Indiana Constructors, Inc. is a 501(c)(6) corporation (IN). TIN/EIN # is 20-5329171. 20% of the ICI portion of the dues and assessments is not deductible in accordance with IRC Sec 6033.
  • 13.41% of the required AGC of America dues is not deductible in accordance with IRC Sec 6033.

How do I update my contact information?

You can request changes through your member portal by clicking the “Edit this profile” tab. Please note, changes must be approved by staff, so they may not take effect immediately.

What if I want to cancel my company’s membership?

First, we hate to think that anyone would want to leave the association, but we understand that sometimes the fit isn’t fitting.

  • Let’s have a conversation before you leave to make sure ICI is doing all it can to fulfill your membership needs. Contact our member engagement team at (317) 634-7547 to chat.
  • If you’ve determined for sure that you want to leave the association, contact ICI’s finance department at (317) 634-7547 when you receive your dues renewal invoice, and we can remove your membership and reverse your dues billing.
