About Us
Since 1924, Indiana Constructors, Inc. (ICI) has been the unified voice of the highway, heavy and utility construction industry in Indiana. ICI provides programs, networking opportunities, products and services in our key program areas:
- We advocate for policy changes and funding at the Indiana Statehouse and on Capitol Hill.
- We negotiate labor contracts, provide employer trustees for union benefit funds and administer the Indiana Constructors, Inc. Substance Abuse Testing program.
- We conduct safety trainings, jobsite safety consultations and a rigorous safety program awards program to keep our member company employees safe on the job.
- We work with government agencies to develop collaborative solutions on regulatory issues.
- We develop next generation industry leaders through the Indiana Constructors Leadership institute and Work IN Roads.
- We provide fellowship opportunities through member meetings, educational presentations, golf outings and our annual convention, INRoadCon.
- We share industry information with our newsletter, social media posts, videos and website updates.
- We connect Hoosier road builders to the issues affecting our industry across the country as Indiana’s highway, heavy and utility chapter of AGC of America and the Indiana affiliate of the American Road & Transportation Builders Association.
In 2024, ICI celebrated its 100th anniversary with a year-long Centennial Celebration. The Centennial Steering Committee charged the association to EDUCATE the public on the importance of roads and road builders; CELEBRATE 100 years of association and MOTIVATE people to become a part of the industry for the next 100 years.
