Jazmin Ramirez discovered the asphalt industry through the Asphalt Pavement Association of Indiana scholarship program, which eventually led to three internships with Rieth-Riley Construction. After graduating from Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in 2020, Ramirez began her asphalt industry career. During her first two years, she had the privilege of working closely with one of the company’s most experienced project managers, gaining invaluable field experience and receiving mentorship in project management. Since then, Ramirez has been managing INDOT projects, primarily in Hamilton County. She stays involved by attending various industry events to connect with peers.
Outside of work, Ramirez enjoys spending time with her daughter, friends and family. You can usually find her at a concert or festival, the Fowling Warehouse or somewhere warm. At home, she stays busy with DIY activities, home projects and cooking.
